This was just I happened to stumble across when I was digging around in the Windows folder on my HP iPAQ hw6515:

The hw6500 series devices have an integrated GPS receiver and the devices ship with a piece of software called Quick GPS Connection from Global Locate Inc (their site seemed to be down at the time of writing). It turns out the Quick GPS Connection uses the two OpenNETCF components you can see in the image above.

Also, it's good to see that the folks at Global Locate have read my blog at some point (they use my System.Reflection.AssemblyFileVersionAttribute workaround).
